:I have been reading the threads below and seeing lots or references to a control valve. I have only seen control valves on AC cars. Non-AC cars just have a straight feed into the heater core. Am I correct? ..Yes you are. Most cars have no control but some may have a manuel inline control with some yet having a control cable to an inline valve. I guess we were assuuming that there was a control valve in this case. I can tell you that it is vaccum operated and is somwhat expensive to replace. I'm on the second one.
