Question about Mods?

Can I use modifications (headers, carb, intake manifold) that are for a Comet? I have a 73 Mav and I am going to be rebuilding the engine soon and I saw that JC Whitney has unbelievably low prices for that stuff but they only have them listed for Comets. Just wondering if I can use them? Thanks Jerilyn
