The problem is 1.people underestimate my car knowledge because I'm a woman and 2.I dont really trust fast talking machanics who are eager to get under my hood! I'm in los angeles,ca If anyone knows a good machanic drop me a line. I can't help with a mechanic but you could try what a lady friend of mine in Texas does. She has a big husky guy go along with her when she goes to get her car worked on. She knows more about the car than he does but it seems to help. Get one that looks like he breaks kneecaps for a hobby. AND, depending upon what you need done and the amount of time you could spend doing it yourself, the guys here are very knowledgable and have tons of good information. Just don't bring up brake system proportioning valves. 8-) |
