:.....Small valves, small volume chambers. If used on a 71 or 72 stock 302, the compression goes up tp 10:1. If used on 73-76 stock 302, the cr will be near 8.3:1.

Ken, the engine they will go on is a 1984 CFI-302 out of an LTD. This will be the replacement for the engine that threw a rod three weeks ago.
Valve sizes are: int=1.78, exh=1.46, do these sound right? Seems a tad small to me. Supposedly, the heads were reworked shortly before the guy broke the crank in the engine they were on (1988 GT, still turned a 13.8 in the 1/4 the final run).
