This will be the replacement for the engine that threw a rod three weeks ago. : :Valve sizes are: int=1.78, exh=1.46, do these sound right? Seems a tad small to me. Supposedly, the heads were reworked shortly before the guy broke the crank in the engine they were on (1988 GT, still turned a 13.8 in the 1/4 the final run). ..Valve size is stock according to my charts. If the piston deck is near to deck height, the cr will be right up there. Don't get to agressive with ignition inital and advance timing and use mid grade gas or preferrable, permium.
