I am new at working on cars (started a year ago) and this is my first restoration project (i hate doing body work by the way). I try tuning my carbuerator and it seems i can never get it lean enought. I turn the two screws clock wise and they seem like they are all the way closed and it still runs rich. It is clock wise on the two barrel that leans it out right? I clean and replaced my plugs, the carbuerator was just rebuild and the timing is right. Do you know what else could be wrong with it? Would a clogged exhaust have anything to do with it?
