1971 Comet numbers matching 302 C4 with working factory A/C with clean title, restoration project for sale. Local car sold new in North Carolina. I'm disabled and can't finish. just under 100,000 miles. solid floors and trunk. very small rust spots on bottom of driver's door. Over $12000 invested with good interior, new brakes, tires, radiator, shocks, lower control arms, ball joints, all steering linkage, front sway bar links, headliner and complete A/C rebuild. Fresh rebuild on trans, diff, and motor. I have the receipts. Original motor now balanced and blueprinted, bored .0030 over with new Edelbrock intake and four barrel, distributor rebuilt with electronic distributor module, mild performance cam, water pump, fan and shroud, fuel pump, hoses and belts, air cleaner, rebuilt alternator. Runs and drives well. car has been setting for 3 years since I got disabled. It gets run around the block once a month. Things left undone: fan switch works intermittently, some play in power steering box, body and paint, worn vinyl top. Body straight and solid.
