I have yet to have that issue...used header wrap around the cable...so far so good...

I picked up a Tremec 5 speed for my Stallion...a srod 4 speed is in the car now behind a 302...can I use my tremec bell housing...I am also...

Yes it did..I am surprised others haven't used the explorer shock brackets...maybe it didn't get seen by those folks...the car should corner well...
[IMG] solved the shock issue...ended up using 1998 ford ranger 2wd shocks...after careful measuring they seem to fit the bill...the set up works...
