Sounds like the tank vent is plugged/clogged. My 64 Falcon does that alot and of course it ends up down the back panels staining the paint if left...

Use a fiberglass based body filler. They're less likely to absord any standing water or acid that might settle there later.
Could also be the soleniod (sp?) or starter. I had a 65 Falcon that ate batteries but everything tested fine. It ended up being a week solenoid...

I'd agree. I've already pulled the covers off the cougar seats and started putting on the new upholstery....

The lower arms on a 67 and later are 2" longer and the upper arms are actually shorter by almost and 1". Ford changed the engine bay on the 67...
The Cougar suspension stuff will only work on the 67 to early 69 Mustang. The 64-66 Mustang is limited to using parts from those years and the 63...
Streetrod, that looks sweet....It'd take alot more than a mini tub to fit 18x10's in a Falcon or Ranchero though. The Chero would be easier to tub...
You'll need a set of 1" thick adapters (I find them on Ebay all the time) to put those wheels on the Chero. I have the same wheels with 225/45R17...
