A freind of mine put a set on his 69.5, he didn't have any issues with them. i believe he had to lift the engine up a little to get them in but no...

I read that the four bolt/rivet upper control arms were prone to cracking, that is why ford switched to the three bolt/rivet ones in or around 71.
