Ordered some surface mount speakers for the rear. I'm making a rear firewall due to the fuel cell and eliminating the 6x9s.
Mine had a RBS on it new and it ran fine. I threw it away thinking I'd never need it again. :(
Raining all day yesterday so all I did was replaced the cracked taillight lens and installed the correct lt rear marker light bezel.

My 250 has a Carter Yf on it. I got it from a member here off of a low miles car. Runs great. You might want to find a Duraspark set up for it too.
It also attached in the center to the hood latch striker brace. Personally I'd notch the fenders. It's not hard. [img]

Turns out the new seal I got was very twisted so I opted to install in on the glass and set it out in the sun awhile. I ended up just roping it...

A good complete Maverick rear end goes for around $250 around here. The street rod guys want them because of the narrow width.

My biggest fear is the ethynol. I believe it damages hoses and rubber parts in the carb. Not sure if its fact or not.

Yeah it looks a little high and the roll of the top edge looks sharper that the original piece too. You may could work it some with a body hammer.
