    I was fortunate enough to see this car at the Spring Green show last August. I looked around for the owner but he must have been out looking at cars. That was a big show - 803 registered cars. Dennis Gage was there doing a show and it will be part of the 2014 "My Classic Car"

    You are correct, modulars are wider than the standard 302.

    If I recollect, the 4.6 liter in my Mustang was/is 7 1/2" wider. A buddy and I had to loosen one motor mount while releasing the other, jacking the motor to put headers on and vice versa.

    First go around took us 12 hours! Second time took six. Learned from the first experience, but still took longer than we ever imagined.
