Thanks Jeremy, glad you got them and glad you liked it! It WILL BE BETTER next year! I have about got ALL the bugs worked out! (trial and error). Yes there is still some left. Thanks again.
I was wondering ( and I am NOT critisizing it at all) perhaps on next years, somewhere near each pic, you could list the owners name, the year of the car, location, any mods, etc thought that might be kind of a cool thing to read
Thanks for letting me know Jerry. Glad you liked them. The mail is funny, it seems that the address that are further away are getting them before ones that are closer to me??? Wierd! Yes Jeremy, that is one of the plans for next year. I think next years is really gonna be something to be proud of. The only thing is, its gonna require everyone wanting to submit a picture to do so by the 1st week in August(2004) cause its gonna take a little more time in the prep area to do this. So when it is time to submit photo's. I will need all that info at that time. Again, I had a few complaints this year about certain cars not getting into the calendar. you know the usual: "why this car and not mine?" But as always it gonna be on a quality photo basis. Thanks again to everyone!
Picture Quality Question: If a digital picture is sent, what should the minimum pixels would be acceptable. I have a digital camera that is either 1.2 or 1.3 million pixels. I know that the higher the pixels the better the picture looks when you blow it up larger. Obviously you want a good shot off the car to start with. Thanks,
A one megapixel camera is not going to cut it. Need 2 mininum, preferably 3 or 4... the higher the better, and use maximum quality or the compression looks terrible.
My dad just picked up a killer camera, not sure on the pixels but it's the most available at this time. I'm gonna bring it to the roundup, it takes digital pictures but they look just like a reagular picture if they are printed out properly!!!
John, I got home on friday for holiday break to be welcomed by two awsome calendars! one is for me and the other is a gift for a buddy who's helped me a ton on the mav. Thanks for all the work you put into this calendar, Dan
Scott, I just talked to John this morning and he asked me to relay that he received your payment and thanks.
Mav Calendar John, just looking at last year's calendar as I type. Twelve months of pleasure it is. My check is in the mail for one 2004 copy. Thanks for your ongoing effort.
