The Challenger looks good but they dropped the retro interior on our production cars. The concept had a slick retro int. Just did a PDI on an SRT Challenger with the 6 speed manual last week. Nice car, lots of power. Dont like the interior. I think money was the issue with a new interior. They just transplanted the 300/Magnum/Charger int. Be nice if we could sell some of our dust collecting Challengers though.
Your right. We all said that at work. They need to be dropped a bit. Especially the v6 cars. They look like a 4X4. The SRT is better but could still drop an inch or so.
2010 If it is a Goverment Motors car I hope you know a tranny mechanic and a good auto electrician. GM the American Yugo! My apology to the Yugo. My friend runs a parts store and he loves GM. His delivery trucks are all Ford Rangers. There is something to be learned here. 35 years ago I told my partner if GM keeps building junk, someday they are going tango Union. I would be afraid if I needed a muffler obambi would send me a steering wheel. Every once in a while they build a good one but the odds are against you Texasjack
they had one of these at the cruise-in tonight. I am not overly impressed.....nice car sure. But Dodge is still smackin' da' booty IMO.
I think Ford did a excellent job on the biggest part of the new Mustang. The front end is dropped down considerably from thr 05-09 i like it,the new body line that kicks up on the quarter panel is perfect and so resembles a 1969.The whole rear end treatment is where i think they goofed, made it too round and bubbly.
Haven't seen a new Camaro in person yet, but the Challengers and '09 Mustangs are on the prowl around here. I don't like the Mustang at all. The Challenger is perfect. A guy where I work just bought a black '09 Challenger R/T with the Hemi, and that car is just completely awesome.
i agree. they really messed up the back of the car. if they had left that pretty much alone or maybe just brake up the brake lights like the 69 mustang had then it would look alot beter. this rear end remindes me of the 99 rear end. when i first saw the 99 i thought it looked european, too european. im really diging the new camaro and challenger. some body needs to start a trans am like series with these three cars. that would be way cool.
Regardless if you like any of these cars or not be glad that they are at least still making them. And at least they are still REAR wheel drive so that's great. I like the new Mustang though the taillights are sorta lame. The Challenger i really do love and would buy one. Don't like the Camaro, it looks like it's smiling at me and really who smiles that much, it's creepy. Has anyone seen the mock up of a Trans Am from the Camaro, now it looks cool...... but with G.M. killing Pontiac i guess that takes care of any future Trans Am coming along. That's just sad. It really is sad what has happened to the American auto industry.
@ the camaro Thats about the ugliest piece if american engineering Ive ever seen :16suspect @ the mustang MUCH improvement over the last generation
Saw a guy with a 2010 Mustang GT. He paid 33 grand for it! He said he was lucky as there was a line. Find a 07-09 Mustang, slap a supercharger on it, and call it a day.
I would break my feet destroying the pedals as I drove the 2010 Camaro as hard as possible. My hand would soon gnarl and solidify over the shift knob and my fingers would grow into the steering wheel, eventually my grin would become permanent and would look like a Ratfink. That car is BAD. I love it. Everything above X2 for the new Challenger. X6 for a fully stripped hemi S-R/T. I'd probably spend the first few days sleeping in it.
What really gets me is how big these cars have gotten. That new Camaro and Challenger are huge and the Mustang is no light weight either.Imagine how fast they would be now if they weighed 1000# less like they did in the early days.
