2011 Calendars

Should we vote on who creates the poll thread? j/k

 

I now have no more 2010 calendars. But they are still available from Zazzle.

i was starting to wonder the same thing lol... I'm sure stefan could make the poll

 

Hopefuly he will participate. I know he's a busy person so I try and figure things out and just present him with ideas, not necessarly have him do something. But yea, some advise, suggestions or help would be great. I just don't want it to become a burden for anyone, especialy the boss.

Oh this is all very exciting to read, i can hardly wait to see this stuff and the end result, which will be a great Maverick / Comet calendar. By the way i really like the engine picture blended beside the picture of the car idea.

 

Matt, I'm thinking about asking Stefan (or a moderator?) to create the poll. We can submit our stuff to an administrator and when he has it all he can do the poll. I am thinking that this way they get put up at the same time. I personaly would prefer no comments, just a poll. I got a feeling your gonna blow me away . Thoughts?

Maybe "Before" shots of some of the cars with the "After" shots blended in.

 

I have a slight idea of the hard work Gene has put into the calendars in the past. Not a easy chore and I don't think much help.

My thought on the calendars,,, Why not work as a team an do the calendars together? Gene has done much leg work in the past and making sure all went right and I think has done a great job! Thinking lots of others agree,,, So if you guys team up together,,, well I see a GREAT 2010 calendar for sure! just my thoughts along with $1.69 I get a Sheetz coffee

How about we have one grand prize winner that everyone votes on, this would be the Mav-Com who gets 3 pictures in the calendar. These pictures would be a series of:

1.) A shot of the car in a field/ barn/bone yard or parked somewhere looking as bad as it can be, very far from being restored.

2.) Same Maverick / Comet halfway through a restoration.

3.) And finally the Maverick or Comet fully restored parked with a nice backround looking as good as can be and as far from how it started out as.

Just a thought.

 

There are a few of those.
I even thought of a Mav one and a Comet one. But we mingle here on the forum so why have two.

 

If you did two calendars you would have to charge slightly more for the Comet calendar as it would be slightly better and classier of course.
