I'm talking about the D8VE blocks. Not one from a 77 Stang. Set of side by side to a Mex block and see for yourself. Weigh it, there's no difference in iron content. The only difference you'll see is the bolt bosses in the front of the Mex and the crank sensor boss in the rear of the D8 block.
