Yep, long ago I ran 66 Mustang manifolds and 65(?) Comet manifolds without problem.

Hi guys! I'm the other owner of that Finnish car. Do you think summit SUM-G9031 (89$) headers fit to our Comet?? We ordered those today..and power steering bracket too. What's that for? Summit says that it is required part with those headers? Hookers...not, shipping, taxes and tolls are quite high in Finland so cheapest way is not always best but worth to try :)

Those won't fit at all. Call them and cancel the order so you don't have to ship them back.
Get the 6901's and you'll have a better product that actually fits.

Ok, I don't want to use almost 400$ to headers because of taxes, tolls and expensive shipping to Finland. Any other headers that fits? Don't have to be coated.

I found flowtech 12100 from local store, so that's gonna be solution. Still wondering what is power steering bracket.. I have Chilton's book an I still don't get it where it goes.

The bracket bolts to the frame and supports the threaded end of the power cylinder(ram). With headers, the bracket needs to be longer to move the shaft of the ram lower. With a manual steering(no power) car, it would not be used.

It is to drop the frame end of your power steering ram low enough to clear the headers I believe.
My car is manual steer, so I can't say for certain.

It's running.. sounds great! So we have flowtech headers. and c4 with column shifter...now you know my next question. Is there any possibilities to get it work with column shifter? I read that members have been converting to floor shifter. We don't want that.
