302 did not fit...

    It may be possible to run a cable to shift with the column shifter. I have heard of it being done before. I don't think you can make the stock bellcrank linkage work. I believe the headers are in the way. look it over and see what you can do. Ust the search function of the forums to see if it is listed - if not then you can always ask in the C4 forum.

    Jiaa!!! Great day again. Column shift linkage works just fine now. It took about 1 hour to bent normal metal rod (about 8$) and it works too. I thought it would be difficult but it was almost easiest part of this swap for now. Pictures in can be seen on: (scroll down)

    Thanks for help members! Maybe few thinks coming before we can hit the road. Kickdown cable, throttle cable and power steering hose connectors.

    BTW, can our -73 C4 damaged if we dont use kickdown at all?

    Yeah, looks like both are polished and maybe even waxed to make sure ride is good ;)

    We must keep hurry because summer is quite short and it's coming!!
