    Crites headers

Here are some pictures of the Crites headers on my 70 Maverick. I told them what heads I needed them for and they put the correct plates on them for me. I am running Dart 225 C&C heads so I needed the wide bold pattern. They are tight and I have an RRS front suspension on it with shock towers cut so I had plenty of room but you do need to relocate the oil filter. You may have to grind the plates back a little for the spark plugs but it is small work for putting a 351 in a Maverick It is worth mentioning that I was not impressed when I called them but I told them I needed them for pinks and they put special effort in getting them to me in time.

Tubular sells Maverick specific 351w headers, but they are only 1.5" tubes.
While not specific to a Maverick, Hooker's 1.75" 65 Mustang 351w swap headers fit our cars with some clearancing in the engine bay.

    Just throwing that out...
