Thanks Bobo!! It take a lot of patience, which I don't have that much of!:rofl2:That's why I can only spend about 2 hours a day working on it.

I have to say, I consider you guys to be the Maverick/Comet experts... and getting the thumbs up from you guys really means a lot!! :tiphat:

That's really cool. I know I could never do it. How about some bobcat taillights.

    Nice!

ok.. I'll make you a deal here. If you can get that thing functional enough for me to use it for paint scheme/mod design?.. I will send you one of my older smaller SSD's to play around with. But it's gotta have wheels and tires too you know. :D

It's not nearly as fast as the bigger newer sata 6G SSD's.. but you will be amazed at what it will feel like to boot back up to your old HDD after using it for 2 weeks. When you do go back to the original HDD that you had?.. you feel like somethings wrong with your system. lol

And after you have all the bugs worked out with basic design completion?.. I might even be persuaded to give you a larger 128GB SSD for working on some body mod ideas that I've been mulling over. I have 18 SSD's all around my house.. so I think I could spare 1. ;)

Here's an SSD compared to an HDD in the same exact system. Pay attn to the massive time savings of file copy around the 1:30 mark. Hardly just "hype" with this stuff. :yup:

Man there are so many possibilities with this. How about big bumpers and little bumpers
With the corresponding fender and valance difference. People could then see what their car would look like if they changed over. And don't forget the grabber spoiler to go along with the hood. I sure am good at thinking of things for other people to work on!

Ok guys... I'm taking a break from the modeling part, and started figuring out how to make this available to you guys online. I have found a suitable way for you guys to be able to see it online. The only hitch to this, is that you will not be able to customize your colors on the internet...

However, I have decided the easiest way to do this is to include ALL the original Maverick/Comet paint colors from some paint-chips I found on the interwebs. That's about 15 or so different colors!

I plan on including the fabled Flat Black paint scheme as well... ;)

But I'm not sure what other colors you guys would want...

So now's your chance to be a part of this... If there's a particular color you would like included, please attach a pic of a car with that color, or (if your crafty with photoshop/Microsoft Paint) attach a picture of the color you would like included.

As for the different car options, (different bumpers, rear/front spoiler, grabber/stock/custom-scoop hoods, and Grabber stripes, Bobcat tailights) those will all be available in the finished product. And I may also try to include the LDO trim pieces as well, if anyone would like. (y)

Also, you will be able to print different views right from the embedded program :)

So let me know what you guys would like!!

Grabber green. Will we be able to print? Will things like the doors hood and trunk open? Will there be wheel choices?

Yup. :yup: From any view you like.

Grabber Green is on my list of original Mav colors :)

Here's a list of the original colors I plan on implementing in the final product.

I plan on using most, not all, of the following colors:
