    Where is this "finish line"? I sure hope we are not talking about street racing.

    lol.. Seems doubtful they will be "lining them up" any day soon to go all out at the next stoplight and it's probably just kids talking and trying to figure what pecking order their cars fall into. If you think about it.. we all "street race" to some degree every day we drive just for the sake of merging or getting over a few lanes in traffic due to people who are less than polite in letting us do so. Some folks are more aggressive, certian times of the day, and a few cities are worse than others of course.

    Granted the explorer is heavier.. but it has better gear multiplication to get it moving. And if there's money involved.. mine's on the explorer based on the fact that all of the factory stock 250's I've driven have cams that nearly fall flat on their faces anywhere after about 4,500 rpm. The explorer will rev way past that to a massive 5,000 rpm. Bonus. lol

    ive owned both and infact owned both at same time i kept the exployer in great running cond.,i know my 250 mav would beat it mine was a 96 exp. and the mav was a 73 those xp were real dogs and got worst gas mileage,my 250 was quick and got 24 mpg i was lucky if i got 17mpg with the exp
