Seems like a booster might be too tight...
Every 460 conversion I have seen had the valve cover almost right against the master cylinder. Even a tiny Geo booster looks like it wouldn't fit.

I am relocating the master 3 1/2 inches away so i can fit a 6 inch booster it is like the ones used under the floor on hot rods......

You'd be suprised how well manual hydraulic brakes work.

The booster just makes it easier.

I like the feel of the manual brakes better myself. They just take more leg power. Cable brakes are the only type of manual brake I would stay away from. Those things have to be adjust continuously.

Another thing to consider is how radical the cam is. This will effect your vacuum and may require a vacuum reserve canister for the booster to work correctly. Basically another item to find a place for.

Good for you, 'cuz I driven a manual brake car everyday for the past year and a half, and I'm growing more and more tired of it by the day. My next Maverick will have power brakes.

I am going with Hopster wheels on the back in a custom size they just arrived today they are 17 x 11 with a 4 " back spacing for thoes big 315 tyres i am getting away from the drag look and going for a low pro tourer look will still stay with the c6 auto for now might go with a gear venders overdrive unit i was told it will handle a lot of power......

IM diggin the fatness of that 315 tire under the Mav:thumbs2:. I would definitely go with a manual if its the Pro-touring theme you going after. One question though, are you really building it to carve corners or just look the part? Cause I would think with the BB460 in front that it might upset the weight balance of the car since our cars are smaller and shorter wheelbases, know what I mean?

OH and I love the Blue on the new Mazda RX-8 and the Nissan 350Z! Those would be my first choices.

I know what you mean about weight issues but i am going with aluminium heads ,intake and water pump.... even though i removed the shock towers i dont thing i saved a lot of weight as the mII front end is beafy i should have weighed it against all metal removed for a comparison i will 4 corner weigh it when im done....and yes i forgot about the Mazda and 350Z i went to the dealers to get the paint codes they will be the two shades of blue i am choosing from...Thanks i feel that when this car is finished it will somehow be a team effort from you guys with all the suggestions along the way...Barry
