It is unfortunate that this can't be done in the US or Canada. As long as the metal thickness is comparable to OEM all we have to hope for is good chrome.

Jimmy just do it. i have to admit that the china factor make me flinch but i am well aware that china or other over seas products are the only afordable way to get things manifactured these days. its a tough pill to swallow but its the realitly of times. i belive that the quality of chinas products have goten better over the years because the demand requires it to get better. so jimmy i have huge respect for you taking on a challange like this. there will always be people who dont like products from china but they still have to use there products because its the only option.

agreed. im glad your lookin for a way to solve the problem of diminishing small bumper supply. some may consider it a band-aid fix, but the way i see it, a band-aid fix is better than no fix at all. and who knows. i've never bought anything from this company, so i don't know what the quality is like, so im gonna hold back on the negative comments.

Ok heres my 2 cents on this.... I would Pay the Extra money for a *****Quality made product***** ...rather than buy something cheap for my restoration, We all have delt with Chinese parts and to me.... i now buy NOS parts because im tired of the chinese garbage that i don't wanna put on my car! If we could have a high quality piece for extra money id buy it ! .... I WILL NOT buy any more chinese made parts for my restorations! More people are gonna buy a good product and pay more... rather than wanna buy a cheapo.

Good grief guys, this is still just in the beginning stages. They don't even exist yet and you're already condemning them. If they are anywhere near as nice as the CHINA made aluminum radiators, I know I'll be in for a couple of sets.

Jimmy, Thank you for your efforts. I'm sure they will sell. I don't have one of the radiators but have heard good things about them. Please ignore the naysayers, they don't speak for all of us. I'm surprised by the reactions as well. Here you go and try to do something good for the betterment of us all and catch a bunch of crap for it.

Is it just me or am I seeing a change on this board? I would expect it from some of the Mustang snobs, but here on this board? I do't like it.

i just dont think that the chinese quality would do some of us any good. im the first one to try to build something on a budget, but i wont do it at the expense of workmanship. i used to build mustangs (65-68) and have used the "$100 bumpers" from the mustang house that were made in china. the fitment is never dead on, but close enough to work with, but the chroming is what really sucks. i had an instance where i had a bumper on a car for less than 7 months and it developed a pit in the chrome.

im not bashing the idea of having these bumpers made, and im glad someone is stepping up to do so, but if one sells cheap bumpers that wont last then it will always come back to bite you in the butt. the efforts here for this are a great idea, but i'd pay a few more dollars and have them made in a country with a little bit better reputation.

btw, i have a champion radiator and really like it..... but it's chinese made and the fitment is still a little off and they have done nothing to fix it. (peckcock hits the strut rod support)

    just my thoughts...

Jimmy dont take it so personal. Lighten up tiger. Just because I wont buy a cheap chinese bumper doesnt mean others wont. Thats why they make 32 flavors of ice cream. By the way you cant compare radiators with bumpers. Quality control on a radiator means it wont leak. If it doesnt leak today and it pressure tests then it probably wont leak 5 years from now. The problem you have with a chrome process is that you can NOT test the chrome to see how long it will last. There is also NO quality control for the chemicals they choose or where they get them from. Im not trying to stereo type anyone but I did live in china for 3 years also. I have been to many factorys. There is no reason to get upset and want to pull your post. I mentioned this because when you take offense to what I posted and I know you will surely follow through with your chinese made bumpers regardless the last thing you want is to sell 100 bumpers and then have 80 customers demanding money back 6 months later. Keep in mind the chrome process is not easy. Even if you think you found a company that going to give you what you want. The factory will still have their chemical suppliers making the cheapest products they can. Just to note also, chinese dont refund money under any conditions. We currently have a client thats out 1.6 million dollars on a purchase they never recieved and their is nothing that can be done. Im glad your radiator business has gone well, and I wish you the nest of luck on your bumper venture.

I think new small bumpers will sell if the price is right. Now, whether or not the quality is good or how long they last, that's for the jury to decide. Innocent until proven guilty guys...give em a chance. Nobody says you have to buy one but I bet if they look great and the quality is decent tons of people start jumping on the bandwagon! How often do you read on here about people looking for small bumpers or rechrome shops? Get-R-Done!!!

Whats the point of sitting here bashing a product you havent even seen yet? seriously guys? come on now... if you have that much distaste for the bumpers just because theyre coming from china, i don't believe any of this thread concerns you... i personally am extremely interested in seeing how they come out because i'm sick of looking at my f****d up front bumper, and i haven't figured out how to grow a new early Mav bumper out in my back yard. +1 to Jimmy for tryin to help the rest of us out.

you wouldnt be looking at a bad front bumper is the chrome process was better

Some of you may not know that (71-72) front bumpers were not made in the same plant as the rear bumpers. This is why rear bumpers usually always are in better condition than the front bumpers. The plant making the front bumpers apparently used a cheaper process and is why the chrome doesnt last as long.
