Might be ugly now Ray, but she won't when it's done! It's just too bad the yellow one has to go.

:bouncy:It depends Matt, on how much the yellow one will bring. If it's enough I may be able to keep it. Let's hope for the best.

Hey Dixie Boy, are those original slotted mags on your car? I'm trying to decide whether or not to take the cragars off and put the mags back on.

Slots weren't available until 1973 ... so no Maverick prior to 1973 would have had them on originally .... I have them on there because they are the best looking Maverick wheels out there ... IMHO ... :yup:

I just found the receipt for the wheels. They were bought from Les Schwab in April of 1973. The cost for all four was a whopping $130.
    wow!

Have you checked under the seats for the build sheet yet? usually stuffed between spring and foam ...

Not every ... but very common ... I have had two mavericks with it under the front seat ... and one Maverick with it behind the rear seat.

If you end up finding it ... I recommend pulling out the seat. The paper will be old and possibly crumbly so you will want to be able to compress the springs and foam as much as possible to remove it in one piece. It will rip very easily.

Didn't find it under the seat but I have a 3" stack of receipt that it is probably in.
