'74 mav accelerator pump issues

    Mavman- Thank you SOOO much for your help! I replaced the piston that came with my carb kit back to the old stock piston (glad I held on to it!) but used the new diaphram from the carb kit. It works PERFECTLY! Thank you so much for helping me fall in love with my Maverick all over again!!!:dancing: Took it out for a drive and it's running beautifully. I think there's a prob with my AT kickdown linkage now though lol... Won't let me shift into 2nd without manually shifting... The linkage has a LOT of play in it too, so I guess I need to figure out how to tighten it now. But at least I don't have engine issues now!!!! :dance:

    I LOVE THIS THREAD!!! I've tried sooo many things trying to fix the same problem. gonna try this out tomorrow and see if it solves the problem~!
