I guess I should also mention the Grabber spoiler (all of it) laying inside the car along with the gas tank that looks to have had work on it (inside coated) but what I am mainly interested in is the Grabber hood and if the tranny will fit my 289.

Well he said he would try and bring it to me tomorrow, and no delivery charge lol, he does have the bumpers and all other parts, just the interior is missing and will be sold seperately (to me hehehe) so maybe tomorrow I will see what all there is there, when I get time gonna try and fire it up and see how it runs, prolly got a lot of cleaning the carbs and stuff to get it fired up but thats part of the fun!

Well you may be able to buy the spoiler but the hood is mine :D
I really don't know yet what I am going to do with this car until I get it home and evaluate it a little more,it is a bit rough around the edges and everywhere else lol, I am building the Blue Street Beasts Grabber now and have made arrangements to build the Green Street Beasts Grabber (waiting on the car) so that leaves me one other option and thats the Red Street Beasts Grabber, it's possible I may go that route as the other 1969 1/2 I found here is still for sale and between them both it may happen, I could go with the ultra rare Mavi GT as the year is right and I already have the tri carb setup.....hmmm
I learned alot doing the interior in my Grabber and getting the entire interior newly redone in black with bucket seats, I mean everything but the carpet for less than $500.00 is a deal!! that interior will go in the Green Grabber, the other 1969 1/2 I found has a red interior and a Grabber spoiler also.
ohhh and Money...not a problem, Spring Break is just winding down and I'm looking for my raise now or another job if I don't get my raise!

Called the seller yesterday as he didn't call me Saturday like he said he would, asked him whats up with the car, I am waiting!! he told me next Sunday he would bring it down to me, it's sitting on his trailer and I told him I would be happy to come and pull it here and unload and take his trailer back asap, it's only about four or five miles from me where the black 73 was that I drove home with little to no brakes, so I guess I gotta wait another week now, on the same subject I was informed by the little lady that I would be building the Mavi GT from this car and it would be hers!! Dayum got kinda bossy bout it but I guess I will do as requested lol (if I want to live a bit longer) so now I need some help in the form of information, what color was the exterior of the Mavi GT? any guesses as I have only seen the black and white photo, do you think it would have came with bucket seats? did any 1970's have factory bucket seats? I have looked at FordImages.com and can only find other Mavericks there in all pictures but no Mavi GT, any help on this would be greatly appreciated, now gotta go get ready for some dirt delivery, foundation for my shop is finally getting done.

Nope, I am a DJ/KJ on Panama City Beach, I just like Mavericks and like to build the different ones, I am building the Blue Street Beasts Grabber cuz nobody liked the HotWheels version, and I did, getting parts like the interior just fell into place and I decided to do the build, on the Mavi GT, well same thing, getting a 1969.5 Maverick with the tri carbed six in it just makes me want to build that one, well that and I was told I was gonna build it.:D

Mavi GTwas not "factory"...strictly aftermarket. Hard to say what color it was...as all I have seen are black and white pictures as well.

No 1970 Maverick ever had bucket seats from the factory.

I thought I had read somewhere that it was a prototype/showcar from the factory and wasn't well recieved so was dropped......

"The Mavi GT was a Ford show car much like the Mustang Stallion show car of late. Ford showcased what could be done to a 250 6 cyl Maverick to increase performance. The results were impressive: 15 second e.t.s and 24 mpg. The car was not particularly well received, and the concept was basically "shot down" when Ford decided to make the 302 V8 and option for 1971".

    So is this information wrong?

Well.....I don't know for a SOLID fact, but I really doubt that Ford would do something like that. I have seen nothing from Ford that supports that.

It was probably outsourced to someone like Holman and Moody with Ford's ideas-" We want blah blah blah, do it and we'll pay you $".
