    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    Im 37, first car was a 70maverick loved it. Took me 20yrs to get another, 72comet with a maverick front end. Hated them till my dad bought me the first one. Hope to have one for a long time.

    First maverick taste was actually my brothers car when he turned 16 back in 86'........that was the reason for buying my car some 10 years later.

    First Mav at 15 71 302 car then 2 parts cars and 1 good shell to strip to build my project car. Finished it at 20 years old. Ran 12.80 on street tires with a pro. driver. I ran 13.20. Parted it out at 25. Got my current Mav at 37 and started all over again. Here we are at 39 and lovin driving it. It has the Hurst pro-matic from my car at 20. I saved it and all the linkage all these years. Somehow I must have known it would find its way into another Mav. eventually.
