I looked the kit up and its available either the fox body spindle or the sn95 spindle for 2500 less the brakes. Thats really cool though because those two platforms have hundreds of options for brakes.
WOW, thats a nice piece................. This with some sn-95 spindles, loaded with an aerospace brake package and a manual steering setup would prob net almost 150lb weight savings! Maybe more! hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I want one!
How much additional room does it look like it's going to give for headers? Can you post some pics when you get the engine installed again? A friend of mine, who is a chassis guy, is wanting me to do something similar on mine...so I'm very curious about all the specifics. I was talking to him about a M2 swap...and he suggested this route instead...
Looks like I will have a lot more room for header clearance which was my primary goal. Yes I will post pics once the engine is back in.
As promised Max here are some pics with the motor in (not complete but in). Just got it in. Taking it to Memphis this Saturday to have the custom headers installed. Will be 2 1/8" or 2 1/4" primaries into 4" collectors. Can't wait to get this thing on the track again. Will keep you posted.
AJS Suspension Nice setup. Im kind of new to the Mav/Comet world; don't want to seem like dumb question. 1.) With this setup do u need the custom oil pan? 2.) This setup eliminates the tower braces?
Man...that looks like you've got all kinds of room for headers. This is looking more appealing all the time...any idea how much weight it dropped?
Just have to go to a rear sump pan. I will still be using my tower braces. Just don't have them on yet.
