    1- That car looks to be a clean and pro built.
    2- You probably could not replicate that car for anywhere near 25k
    3- You could probably go just as fast a whole lot cheaper because.....
    9s in a chassis car w/a 545 BBF just doesn't impress me. Not when we have several members on here running almost as quick with small block engines/less tire/ and sorta street legal.

    Dropping half a second off the 1/4 mile ET of a 9 second car is waaaaaaay different than dropping a half second from a 15 second ride! The quicker you go, the cost and difficulty of going even faster increases exponentially.

    Also, the maintenance and repairs are much, much higher when you are wringing the last HP out of a motor at high RPM's, rather than making easy passes with a big torquey motor.

    I know the faster you are, the harder it is to find that last couple tenths. And you may be right, it might run easy 9s w/o revving the motor through the stratosphere. I guess I just get off more watching drivers fight 10" tire cars running tens than purpose built race cars:tiphat:
