His ad mentions the air gap within the upper tank area. I have that. I really don't think that is such a big deal. The cooler tho?... that has me curious. I removed my external trans cooler cause I was convinced that the radiator (3 row) I got would be over what I need. I have yet to confirm and it will be a while :(.

Here's what I bought except mine is 3 row. The other thing that sold me is the life time warranty. As long as I have had this car I have gone thru 3 radiators so...Maybe it will last and maybe he won't be arround. The last one I bought was a lifetime also, but the company isn't around anymore. Oh well, it looks bad a** anyway :)

His and mine have the same part # as the one I bought :hmmm:

i think that would have been my second choice, everything seems to be about the same only he says nothing about the cooler

false statement in his listing "Aluminum dissipates heat more efficiently than copper or brass."

i got it! it cools great, only down fall is i had to cut the bottom frame on my car so the radiator drain petcock would fit in and not all the bolt holes lined up quite right. but it's good to me.

it also rubs my hood a little cause i had to pull it up some so my bottom left water outlet doesn't hit my frame. great radiator just got to modify it to fit.

I wonder if my Comet hood has more room at the top...? Maybe that's part of it :hmmm::huh:.

Bummer. So does anyone make one that actually bolts in with no mods at all? I do not want to cut anything. Just bolt up and go.

Unless you absolutly have to have the three row I would get the two. I been reading and it seems most of us like getting the three and it's overkill to most anyway. My three didn't require cutting and if I had been patient I would have gotten the two. :2cents:

Thanks for the input. I'll be running a mild 351W, so the 2 row should be fine. I actually like the looks of the older one with the 'cut' corners on the tank better. I believe those all fit correctly.

Mine fit. I think the fact that it's fatter is why the petcock is so close to the crossmember. Actualy it's dead even with it leval wise.
As for the cut corners, that's a matter of prefrence, i'm not a fan of them. They just look like patches, no, not Franks car lol. The square look isn't much better but... matter of prefrence. Actualy the cut corner one would be awsome, if the welds were smoothed and the tank polished. I would hate to comprimise the structure trying it tho.

Wish you guys would figure out which is best so I can get one, I will be running an aluminum headed 347 so got to stay cool. 2 row-3 row I am so confused  Cutting a little bit for the petcock isnt really an issue for me.

Sorry I said overkill. I suppose you can never get too much. I remember when the three came out. I wanted one so I could be cool :rofl2:
I have a 302 so I really can't speak for you guys. Don't listen to me
