I really hate it for you! I'm glad the house and everyone is okay! I know I'd be sick if my car burned up, so I really feel for you....Take care!! Good Luck!

:mg::eek3: That is just so sad to look at. I can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I don't blame you for wanting to cry. I know I would. I'm just glad nobody was hurt and your house and garage are OK.

What a bummer. That was a cool car (I have a thing for the 4drs) . When you build one like that with your kids, it is almost like losing a member of the family to them. I`m sure theres enough people on here you should have a lead on a new body soon.

    Jason,

I'm extremely shocked and sad to see this. I know how much work went into that car. I saw your thread about replacing the roof on a 2-door. If you decided to try and repair this car we have what's left of a 4-door car with a good roof on it. Might be an option.

    Jason,

Terrible news about your car. Two door or four door, it was a great looking car. It is relieving to know that no one was hurt and no damage was done to your home.

With insurance coverage, at least you should have enough money to rebuild or buy a completed one. Good luck with everything.

    Jim

Wow, I am really sorry to hear about your car. Hope everything works out with the insurance. Now I really wish I had time to meet up with you when I was in Orlando.

This was one of my favorite 4-doors! I am glad no one was hurt. I just had a buddy who lost both his projects, garage, and house to a fire that started a similar way. I think I will purchase a fire extinguisher to keep in my Maverick. While I know that you wouldn't have been able to reach one inside an already burning car, this kind of incident brings forth the reality of how easy fires can start.
