I found out that the Quad Cities Cruisers will not be at cordova this year. I have a 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday 2 Door Hardtop. It has been sitting for the past 14 years and needs a lot of work to be roadworthy. Here is what it looked like when I bought it in 1983, after a lot of cleaning. the gray car behind it is/was my 71 Maverick. as of last year: Glen
I go back and forth between spending what money I have on buying another maverick and working on the Olds. Im leaning towards the Olds right now. I have the carb off and in the process of rebuilding it, but it needs a ton more - Brakes, gas tank, frontend parts, etc... Glen
Same old story, I know what you mean man, so much stuff that wants to be done, only so much time and money available, I have so much more to do on my Comet, have owned it since '97 and just in the last month and 1/2 I have finally gotten it driveable. Still need to do so much, I feel your pain though, Seems like forever to get it where you want it to be. Such a lofty goal I have just to get it running well enough to get to a Round up or Mini Meet. But that doesn't include fixing rust, re-doing the interior, etc. It's all worth it though isn't it!
