anyone paint the inside doors body color instead of interior color?? (arounddoorpanel

    Contrasting colors?

    I know of a yellow '73 GT, with black interior. The doors were painted yellow with black door panels.

    I don't have a better pic of it. This would be the only thing that I would change on this car-paint them the correct metallic charcoal/black. That and get the correct mirror bases on the car!

    Well, my inside driver's door is now again white to match the door panel. It looks 100% better than before when the door was painted red and the door panel was white.

    When the door panel and interior is a different color than the outside color, what is correct for painting the door to match the outside, the sill plate, the back section which has the door tag concerning the car, and the part of the door that has the door panel located?

    For example, if the outside is red and the interior black, how much of the door is red and how much is black? Is the rubber gasket perhaps the break point?

    i have a 1969 red mustang with black interior and the painter did that sh** years ago. i have never liked it, ....i will paint it flat black one of this days
