I got a 400K6, same length as the other belt. It could be longer because the alt is not even to the halfway point in the adjustment range.

    March is at:

Dennis, that looks really nice. Been thinking of doing it to mine. Now I know I need to.

1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.
    March pulleys w/ P/S

I have the March set w/ P/S. I think I had to get it as an extra not included in the kit and it was about $80 more for the P/S pulley. 74Maverick, Thom

those numbers Dennis posted on the belt size translate to a 40" 6 rib belt...could probably go with a 41 or 42" if there's that much adjustment left in the alternator

Thank you, yeah I actually had my mom the puter wiz come over and give me a hand. I was having a lot of problems trying to get the pics scanned. I kept going over the alotted bytes. I had to cut the quality and then crop the pic, ahhhh! If you can give any tips on scanning the pics it would be greatly appreciated. The fact that my mom and I got them up there was a deffinate accomplishment. So I give my mom the nanaman/clap combo.
    :bananaman  :bananaman
    Thanx, Thom

it depends on the program your using to view the pics...right click over the picture you want to downsize...click edit...this will open the pic in MS paint...click view and then click stretch/skew...change the 100% values to 25% save changes and exit. the pic should be small enough to post now.

here's a couple pics of my March braket and pulley set. I don't remember what part number the kit was though. I bolted on a crown vic pump and a 5.0 mustang thermostat housing and everything fit prefect.

this is the bracket on my old motor

this is the side view still with the stock alternator

the 105 amp Lincoln Mark VII alternator bolts up prefectly to this setup. It still uses an external regulator so you don't have to mess with wiring but I ran a bigger wire from it to the battery.
