Very cool. I know that Ford used that fabric on Mustangs. I have seen a '70 Boss 302 that had the gold/orange/rust/brown (memory) inserts.

That car has been listed in Shorthorns for about a year. I wish someone else would have picked it up so I didn't have to....
Luckily Mavericks are small, they fit in small corners of the pole barn. I actually considered getting rid of one to make room for it because I liked it so much.

    I saw it....

....but didn't pay much attention to it. I was not in the market.
    Very cool interior.

Short Horns is the official publication of the MCCI. When you join the club, you get the news letter. There are 6 news letters per year. You can either get the online version, which is full color, or the mailed version which only the centerfold is color.

Awesome Fairlaine there, mate! Resembles the ones sold here, yet cooler in just about every way possible... buckets, console, sport mirrors, better grille. I twists my mind to see the right-hand driver position and dash.

Nice wheels and redlines there too. :thumbs2:

Oh yeah, nice upholstery too (trying to keep the thread "on topic"... :dancing:)

    Thanks Jeff!

I love the old girl dearly. Having said this though, I would be beside myself in the US with the range of old school cars to choose from

Its amazing how many parts from the US fords made it onto our cars actually!

Edit: A shot of the rear end :)

Is your Fairlane a midsize or a full size car . It looks like our Torino

    Gday Jay

Basically the biggest long wheel based car you could buy in Australia back in 1972

See below for a picture next to a standard full sized car

My car is similar to the other one next to it, a performance Ford Falcon XA GT version, but had longer rear quarter panels

Now seeing a pic of the back, they do look like 4 door
Torinos from 70-71 here. More like a 69 Cougar/Fairlane front end.
