All I know is that the previous owner to the guy who I bought it from stripped off stuff and had actually put a couple of different motors in it. The guy I got it from took the drivetrain that was in it when he got it for a Ranchero project..

I am thinking that since this one is still together, I might just get this one on the road using my motor and trans from my 73. I am pulling it out anyway to do the R&C suspension anyway. I can drive this 72 around while I work on my 73.

So I spoke to Tom at SRE and he has given me some prices. The kit does not include the steering joint. Something about I would have to take measurenents once the engine is in and header is on to know what is in the way.
I will be ordering the necessary kit/parts from them to get the 72 done and then figure out which one I will get for the 73.

    "Hi Gene,

It was nice talking to you on the phone today. Thanks for letting me quote you prices for the parts you need to finish your front end. Bleow are the prices per your request:

Hub to hub MII type IFS minus the crossmember kit with tubular a-arms, 11" disc brakes and manual rack & pinion-- $1499.99
    Optional sway bar add--$200
Optional SS brake hose kit add--$100
    Shipping to 73448-- $152.96"

As you can see, Gene - you won't know what you will need to purchase until you get to that point where you can connect point A to point B :)
