Brake Fluid

    I was told by a brake proportioning valve rebuild place to flush entire system with alcohol.

    Alcohol will not hurt any brake system rubber parts as long as it isn't blended with other chemicals that contain a oil base.I deal with this stuff everyday.

    You didn't step on any toes. I just found the site by searching, and glad someone told me about the possible harm from the site. :thumbs2:

    I've learned alot here, as I would never have thought of putting alcohol in the brake lines. I just would have flushed it a few times.
