I've never seen that info, only seen many instances where the use of urethane bushings resulting in the strut rods breaking in half. Could be using the washers the way the stock bushings were resulted in the stiffness they're talking about there ? And that causing a rod failure ? I don't know, but after seeing the failures posted, I wouldn't try em.
