bumper conversion

    Rick Nuthman, if you got rearended and your car was not totalled, you probably had BIG bumpers. The small ones provide little, if any, protection from collision (and would likely fold into the quarter panels causing further damage). Small ones are like the picture above this post, on the blue care with black stripes. The big ones are about 8 inches thick, as opposed to the two or so inches on the small ones. The 73 models had intermediate sized bumpers, probably 6 inches thick.

    wow i got a good thread going. now fer the down side. with the weather going the way it was i figurd i wud be able to do it but then that dagernd icestorm had to come in an lay it hard on us okies:cry:
