    Finally!I have the Maverick at the transmission shop.Owner let me watch him tear it down.Found the problem.broken gear in pump.Will be back on the road shortly.Thanks for all the help!Jerry

    help c4

    I have a 64 Falcon with a 68 falcon 200ci and a c4. I want to install a 70 or newer c4 and convertor. how do I do that and what do I need. Ed

    C4 transmissions can be greatly modified,google it for more information.:tiphat:

    Wow! That's surely unusual! I've known folks that have beat C4s to death and never broke the oil pump! I'm interested to see what caused it! Please post back when you've found the cause! :)

    Other fords like the tauruses,:tiphat: 2000 have been known to break the torque converter shafts
