Dumb question: What are cal-tracs? Pic?

I know about slapper bars and stuff, but, only heard about cal-tracs since seeing 'em written about on one of our threads a few weeks ago.

Cal-tracs fasten to the rearend almost the same as a slapper bar.Now there is a adjustable bar(rod ends at both ends) that runs from the rearend to the front eye bushing on the spring. There is 2 triangular pieces that are on either side of the front eye bushing. The long bar with a rod-end fastens to these 2 pieces. The other end fastens to bracket that you attached to the rearend .Do a google search of Calvert racing. it will show you all the pieces that bolt together. No welding required. This is only touching the description. A picture tells a 1000 words. Ron:)

Yeah... right after I posted, I thought to myself: "hey dumba**, why don't you just click on that link. I bet it has pics there." :slap:

So, I did and there they were. Sorry, I just didn't wanna double-post.

Now, what is the benefit over, say, those slapper bars that replace the U-bolt plate and attach directly to the axle housing? You guys have me dangerously curious.
