Fordman ,for some reason your pics won`t enlarge when I click on them. I`d really like to see the pic of your rear suspension set up with the SSM bars. I`m planning to try a set on my car and may want to copy your set up.

Would you mind sending the suspension pic(s) to me at mavgrbr72@hotmail.com

    Thanks alot

Ivey I can get somewhat of an idea, of what you've done by the small photo.

Is this still the 50/50 drag shock from hurst? If so, did this mod help your 60 footer?

Thanks, I look forward to Rick giving us the big picture.

Fordman brings up some good points.....the cal trac is not the "only" traction device that will work, it's just one of the best on the market and it is fully adjustable, so it makes for a real good "bolt on" traction device.

Another thing to keep in mind, it's easier to get those kinds of 60' times when you're talking about a 2200 lb. car.......add 800 lbs. to the mix and things change quite a bit.....

Gotta look at the whole package, not just one component!!

Fordman can you give us the part numbers for the aerospace parts and did you have to do any mods to make them fit.

    Thanks

Fordman I tried to post the pics you sent me but my OLD software could not recognize
the pics so I could resize them :(

Did the shocks mount to the Bars that way to begin with ?Or did you weld the piece of angle iron to the bars that way ?
