    The dash looks great ... you almost don't notice the missing heater controls. Is there going to be some module underdash for the new A/C?

    Also, what did you use on the rear quarter panels? ... they look great. I am just working on mine right now.

    Those are Autometer MCX 5" multifunction gauges.

    I'm using a Vintage Air universal kit and the controls will be mounted in the front section of my '79 Camaro console (there's another thread here somewhere showing that...). The interior was heavily sun-damaged and I ended up sanding off most of the remaining texture. I shot the panels with "Flex-Tex 3800" from Urethane Supply Co. and then sprayed them with SEM black and SEM satin clear SureCoat from VinylPro. I wasn't impressed with the grain of the Flex-Tex and have since seen that VinylPro has a texturing agent, next time, I'd try that. This is not cheap when you figure in all the cleaners and complimentary products, but it's great stuff!

    I'll prolly do that soon, parts $$$ is next to nothing, mainly it's the time factor!
