    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    yeah i guess that tells you all the power in the world don't mean nothing if you can't hook it up... and i guess it cost money to hook it up.

    and i love it when he said the car wasn't drivable with a 5000 stall... i was like :49: dang!

    also did you see the crazy ignition system that things got! way cool! did you notice no distributor i'm sure that wasn't cheap!

    yeah it definitely is a nice place to start with a project. its that been there, done that and it should really help people spend their money a little wiser since all of this guys efforts have been so thoroughly documented.

    I doubt that you will hear much about the car itself.
    It said that the engine was out of an Explorer.

    Derrick, I did see his ignition setup. Isn't that the same
    as the Explorer ran from the factory? Coil on plugs?

    I wondered about the efficiency of a home built EFI
    setup with universal parts. Why not use an Edelbrock
    or similar aftermarket proven piece after spending all
    of the money he has so far.

    yeah coil packs like all new cars. man that stuff aint cheap! i remember a dude in a pantera parked next to me at a show telling me yeah they are only $1300. i was like yeah ok thats why i drive a maverick and you drive a pantera. :16suspect

    maybe he wanted to be differant? :huh:
