    That sure is green. The scoops are certainly different...

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    Did you use a regular Maverick hood or a Grabber hood?

    regular maverick hood and welded the scoops on. Then filled in the edges. On the regular mav hood there are braces under the hood and in each rear corner it makes a triangle. I cut out the triangle section to vent the scoops to the engine compartment. Hopefully it will blow the header heat down..

    I love the color and the wheels too! Very nice combination. I'm not crazy about the hood but I appreciate the hard work you put into it. Nice job overall!

    thanks all for the compliments. Most of the people here like it, but have had a few that think the color is too much.. I have heard of 2 other mavericks in town but havn't run into them. They are suppose to be 4 door cars. I would like to meet them and get them in the club. One of the mavericks is suppose to be like brand new with low miles: and for sale for $1000.00.
