Don't let it bother you I have been building mavs for years heard every comment out there about them some bad and sometimes good but thats why we build them cause there not popular with the masses. But I like being different . thats why I am building a 4dr grabber . All mavs are cool.

I am not loyal to any brand (no imports) but it is boring to me to go to a gathering of cars and people and see nothing but commonaros and chevelles. I even owned a 70 split bumper commonaro (my dad named the car) at one time. I love my Maverick along with my 67 charger. Next time you hear the bowtie guys, ask them how much hacking and hammering it took to get that small block in thier vega and how long did the rear end hold up. My 8'' has seen a lot of abuse(mid tens) and only recently shown signs of wear. Besides, any car that came from the factory with bullhorns in the emblem has to be badass, right? Long live variety and doing something different!

Really want to make waves??? Go to a Mustang show and win a trophy with a Mav or Comet, and listen to the Mustang guys. I got told my car was a POS and that it was unfair for a POS Maverick to beat his $100K+ Boss 302:chillpill . Judge said his car was "over restored", and that he should rethink the car. Made my day!!!
