Recheck all the wiring? Might just be a disconnected/loose plug. I agree with dave, its probably something obvious, I know Ive ran around for hours on end looking for a problem that was right in front of me the whole time...lol

my first guess would be that the distrubtor is 180 out as stated earlyer. did you put the the rotor back in the distrubtor? ive seen that happen a couple of times. is the gas that you put in good? did you change the cam, and is it in right? does the motor try to start or, spit fire or anything when you crank it?
I dont see how it wont start, If your sure you have spark and fuel, then i dont see the problem!, are you not pumping the gas pedal enough? flooding it? get one of them fansy spark plug lighter upers from harbor freight.
In addition to spark and fuel you also need compression, if youre missing any of those 3 the car wont start.
