Carbon Fiber "Grabber Type" Hood DONE! IT'S HERE! Finally!

    Welcome aboard muise101...not too far from me down here. I actually work in Pascagoula. I haven't seen that c/f hood in person yet but I've heard nothing but good things about it. I feel sure if you get it, you'll be VERY pleased! Post some pics of your car!

    Got my Carbon Fiber Spoiler in today to match my hood.:yup: It looks great!(y) I will post pics as soon as I get it installed.....very soon....:tiphat:

    I have a question. If I have a Comet & I want to put a Maverick hood on it, do I need to get a Maverick latch. It looks like the Comet hood sticks out a little more than a Maverick in the middle.

    I would think you just need a Maverick grille and maybe grille support.
    The 77s used the same bumpers.
    The latch on the hood should unbolt and fit on a Maverick hood... :huh:

    The latch is still different. It will bolt on, of course, but the "handle" that releases it is made for the longer Comet nose. You'll need the Maverick latch.

    I had a grill made. I guess I will have to get a Maverick grill support just to see whats different & get a new grill made. Maybe pay more attention to the entire setup & take pic to compare. Thanks again

    Got my hood today!
    Super fast shipping and packaged stout! :thumbs2:

    My wife asked if I liked it, I said "Honey, I need a better car that doesn't ugly up my hood!" :yup:

    All the elements of a Spabber are in place now...
    I just need to get the body/paint work done.

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    lol! paint the car now!!! remember just take care of it like your would a new car paint! wax it keep it out of the sun... the two best things you can do!

    no problem dude glad to get it to you! now i just need to get more done to fill the rest of these orders! lol! i'm hoping someone will paint the hood and leave the grabber stripe pattern carbon! that would looks soo cool! i would do it but no grabbers here :(

    btw take some pics of it in the sunlight so you can see the carbon weave! i'm gonna put yours and Mikes up on my site.

    you got your trader rating... now wheres mine! lol!
