I was thinking the same thing...:thumbs2:

what power supply are you using? I would like to get one. I left mine on the batt. for a few minutes and no heat was generated as someone thought they would.

Frank it's a Radio Shack regulated power supply, 3 amp, 13.8 v, I use it quite a bit testing all my 12v stuff I get, I left my lights plugged in and on for about 20 minutes, they got a little warm but I could still hold them in my hand without getting burned.:D

I don't mean the housing gets hot .. the Circuit board and the LED get hot. Did the seller respond back about leaving them on for extended periods?

As much as I like it and think it's way cool.. I wish it was a little brighter. As you back away it really disapears.. Will be neat to see them lit up at an evening gathering :party5:

He said they will heat up but his thinking was more along the lines of the area around the mounted light.

My tracking number still says I will be getting mine on Sept 30, 2013

The tracking was updated tonight to say they were in Lehigh Valley Pa. which is 60 miles south of me so I should be getting them tomorrow or Thursday :dancing:

No pic.. I got them in yesterday but wasnt able to play with it till today. Then all the time I had was to strip the wires and connect it to a battery I have at the shop. Be careful stripping the wires. They are thin. My shop isn't the britest and was still not showing well. The darker the better..
I have a second set here. I will try and get a pic..

I played with mine tonight...in my shop they reach from floor to ceiling and still very clean at about 10'. the light is 4' wide at a distance of 3'...at 14" they are 19" wide...you can take them down to the size of a pencil eraser... :thumbs2:
