I'm with Allstate and added the Maverick last year when I was ready to pass inspection. I think it was about $1100 / year. Took it off a few months ago as I've torn the car apart for a restore.
I have allstate and have multiple policies with them and the mav is around 400.00 a year with full coverage.
I had farmers before on my CJ7 it was comprehensive, basically I had the step between liability and full, I dont even know if you can get it anymore .. But never again will I even step in their offices, ended up getting in an accident with an illegal immigrant he did a U-turn right in front of me and I T-boned him. Even though it was his fault, the police report said it was his fault, and he admitted too the officer that it was his fault. Farmers still denied my claim because he was an illegal immigrant, and refused too fix my jeep.
before i went with Hagerty's on my '74 Maverick...i had it with Wawanesa... you might want to at least get a quote...couldn't hurt...just sayin'...
State Farm, full coverage on two cars and its only 76 a month--and have an appraisal price on the Grabber.
I've had my all my cars with meemic and had nothing but positive experiences with them. Later this year car will be getting switched to hagerty
They wouldn't even replace my window seals when my windows got busted. And $500 deductible...really? Hagerty is $0 for better coverage.
Do you have car insurance now? Or have you ever had it? Either way, make sure you insure the car for what the purchase price was, and update it as you do whatever you do to the car. As for the State Farm quote, I have them for my everyday drivers and my business truckd, house and office, never had an issue. State Farm is one of the fussiest insurance companies out there, ask anyone that runs a body shop. I've also been hit, and never had an issue, their customer service is outstanding. It is your own responsibility to know what your deductible is, and what is covered, deductibles can be lowered if you pay the appropriate premium. Taking the lowest monthly payment, usually means you'll have the highest risk, and the lowest insurance coverage.
Yeah, I remember that. Not good. I've never had a bad experience with them. Maybe because I've been with them for a LONG time.
